For the Home Brewer / Coffee Enthusiast / Barista looking to up their brewing game and better understand the concept of brewing. This course uses scientific principles and coffee brewing variables to help improve / tweak your brew. A big emphasis is placed on tasting all coffee brewing in order to link what we taste to the theoretical principles explained during the course. (50% theory / 50% practical)
Requirements : This course is recommended for those who wish to develop a deeper theoretical understanding of the extraction of coffee, for filter coffee and espresso, and linking this to practical application and sensory results. 6 months barista experience or a significant amount of brewing experience at home is recommended.
